Time passes.

Life and Times, Lifetimes The millstone grinds on Wearing away the essence Of brightness to dust. Individual Soul of a child born to us Changed by time and need. A kernel of self What’s left to ignite later The ashes still burn. Each generation Frames time forward as they should Connecting now / then.

Yes the last stanza ties all together, although, my generation are seeing then, a few nows, and the generation taking the relay pin of the future.
Time, so short, and yet, going tick-tack for one eternity.
