Rescue for Christmas

Will Nilla welcome a new playmate? This is Eeyore, a poodle-xochi mix. We would name him Yorick.

We promised one another

A simple holiday.

Some holiday grog

Or nutmeg nog

A midnight spa

No frew frew or ta ta.

 

But I saw a dog

With big eyes

Sweet hopeful cries

My heart sighs

A good cause, white lies.

 

We may welcome Eyore or Punzo some time soon.

What a cutie, Eileen! And hooray for thinking of those who have no forever home to come to. Now, if the rest of us could reach out with loving arms, there would be no lonely pets (or people) for Christmas. Well done!
