Writer's Journey Warn the karate instructor! Today the delete key overheated, The trashcan filled up (twice) with crumpled wads of paper, My fingernails gnawed ragged as I worry. But then Joy squeezes my heart. The sentence dances, Reborn from lying inert, Dead as the sodden leaves. For such moments, Ink has flowed, Tears have spilled, And hope is renewed by the right word. Heart, brain, my inveterate will to write on and on and on Hear me and remember For next time.

nice!.....i especially like the 'the sentence dances'...thats really what it feels like when one that DOES plonks out from seemingly nowhere...isn't it?

I love this part... it says so much,

Joy squeezes my heart.

The sentence dances,
