Now I Know Why She's a Terrier

I have not raised a terrier before. And this one is a shih-tzu mix. Ai yi yi!

Now I Know Why She's a Terrier

 

She looks like Alfalfa on a bad hair day.

She could out-wily Wile E Coyote.

Her roadrunner run would win the race,

I think the dog’s on LSD or peyote.

 

To watch her play in the kids’ water pool,

Fills an hour with our laughter,

To pick up the napkins, the t.p, the twigs,

Reminds us to be vigilant thereafter.

 

She harasses her sister, she jumps on the table,

She steals peach pits and the leaves from the tree,

Obedience training 101’s on the agenda soon,

Though the forms were shredded by the enrollee.

LOL, way out loud. Our little "angel" has terrier in him and boy oh boy they live up to their name. We watched the Dog Whisperer and learned how to train him in just a couple of hours. Terriers are ratters by nature so they like to capture things and shake the s___out of them. He has about 25 toys and knows the name of each one and will fetch and kill it when asked to find it. lol. Oh and they are way smart too so we spell words we don't want him to react to. So much fun are they who try us to our wits end. Glad you are having fun. Hugs, J'nia

Ho, Ho, Ho! Try a ferocious little Chihuahua next, or a rascally little rat terrier. I have both, and they keep me extremely busy! (And they terrorize my big dogs, too.)
