Past Midnight

Let me capture the night
taken in sweet surrender
to hold secret dreams
that awake I remember…
To climb highest mountains
all covered with flowers
to bask in the moon glow
of past midnight hours.

Where I can find laughter
that tangles in breezes
or find my desires in
whatever pleases…
Alive with the motion
of cosmic rotation
unbridled, awakened
with infatuation.

A stellar encounter
above clouds I hover
to move beyond day
within self to discover…
That reason can’t touch
what the mind can create
in the reaches of darkness
when hours grow late.

And when you create Melissa there is magic in your words, freeing you from the mundane.
Your thoughts and ideas rise above the clouds and your expressions are like stars that fill the night with glitter and light.
Be of good cheer. You rock Lady. bill
