Payback

Give'em enough rope...they'll hang themselves!

It’s coming around again
spiraling down
in the hate that you breed
you will choke ‘till you drown.

Like a cancerous cell
it will spread through your brain
feeding on your infection
‘till you feel the pain.

For the torture you’ve given
while spitting out lies
comes the knife blade to you
no one hearing your cries.

Run away if you can
it will tangle your feet
mangle you in the madness
you’ll find no retreat.

For the moment approaches
when push comes to shove
you will find no redemption
from heaven above.

Where the cost is too heavy
your anger too deep
should have sown seeds of love
now it’s hell that you reap.
