To Feel The Invisible

Hold me in the shadows when the darkness breathes in me… Hide me from the swollen clouds ‘till light again I see. Vanquish all these demon dreams that twist inside my soul… Lest I sleep on relinquishing the last of my control. Remind me how the flowers bloom in spite of winters sleep… To reawaken hope to fight back all these fears I keep. Cradle me inside your calm when I have come undone… Before I slip away from you like nighttime hides the sun. Forgive me for this cross I bear that sinks me to my knees… Give back to me my forest when I can’t find any trees. Look past the flaw that flows within to blind me with obsession… Then guide me far away from these dark moments of depression. Though if you cannot stay with me you know I’ll understand… For it’s a monster feeding me yet I can’t bite its hand.
