I'm going to be gone this week again...so I'll leave you with one of my normal dark ones...you knew I couldn't write many lovey dovey ones didn't you?!!! I'll be back! :)

Far past the sense of recollection,
in between the then and now
are reasons resonating ‘round
that tumble ‘cross the why and how.

Sad seasons passed so slow and withered
turning dreams to dusty notions…
Pushing, pulling with the tethers
captivating future motions.

Frailest memories haunt the moment
whispering through cobwebbed breeze…
A shroud of darkness deep descending
pulsing like a dread disease.

Lay waste to visions of the heart
with deep incision through the bone…
These savage demons carving dinner
searching for the soul alone.

To twist the insides past the limit
salivating for the taste
of hope and faith and validation,
their intent to lay them waste.

Bent spirits with no eyes to see
the clarity that walks with men…
Whose eyes have pierced the veil that falls
to recognize the now and then.
