Silent Victory

To loose the tongue would be to rage against the wrongs been done… Yet silence is the blade that cuts through which your fears shall run. You’ve woven lies as smooth as silk yet it’s the worm I see… While deep within my wings emerge till I, at last am free. I hover only out of reach that you may never find… This soul that’s bled the past to shed your memory from my mind. Now on the winds I sail with ease for certainly I’ve gained… Perspective from the pain I bore with wounds the heart sustained. I’ve no time now for looking back what’s done is dead and gone… It’s useless to relive the past so I’m just moving on. No, I’ll not rage against your sins for I have learned to cope… I’ll just sit back and watch you hang yourself with your own rope.
