Love the title, still love your poetry ...
I could read it always ...

I’ve traded tears for anger’s storm
to borrow from its rage…
But broke my wings upon the bars
that held me in death’s cage.

So in the sorrow of my soul
I cried for all that’s lost…
Survival always measuring
my life with heavy cost.
