A song of rhythmic passion and melodic love, the chase of innocence and seduction sprialing into the creation of a sensitive and beautiful relationship of song.

Desperate Rhythms

The desperate rhythms of his heart

beat mild and subtle at the start.

They yearned for something so much more,

waiting, querying, at life’s door.

His rhythms steadily pounded a searching yearning beat.

His heart kept low and waiting, beckoning at her feet.

The whispers of her velvet touch

begin to stir anew.

Her delicate pure virgin notes

clung subtlety as the dew.

The melody that longed to float

into consciousness, yet remote,

lingered just beneath the dreamy depths,

waiting to surge forth from her lips.

The desperate rhythms beat yet stronger;

Pounding in his heart made his thoughts wander.

He yearned to apply this rhythmic beat

to a pure virgin melody so sweet.

The restless beat begin to falter,

when life’s path presented him an alter.

He knew he must repeat strong and fast,

the thriving beat which made his heart last.

Her melody so pure and sweet,

longed to find the right beat to make her life complete.

The notes of love that sought to soar;

a haunting refrain, totally innocent, pure,

waited patiently, hoping love would not close its door.

At last, his desperate rhythm beat

allured by something soft and sweet,

did find the niche that made it stronger;

the rhythms would be desperate no longer.

Her lovely melodic rendering,

blended smoothly with his tempo,

and between the two of them,

a song sprang forth contempo.

At last the rhythmic tempos were tamed,

balanced as they turned to flame.

The melody was true and brighter,

together the notes created great desire.

A song surged forth from innocent loins,

freedom creating harmony;

a love song born out of desire,

filling hearts and minds with love’s reveries.
