The tedious entertwining of lives, nature, spirituality, earthy and beyond, cling to one another throughout this process of life and death, thus affecting each other and everything eventually.

Memories Of Life

Echoes, loud and haunting from the halls of time,

distant, forever, lingering in the crevices of the mind;

shadows of what once possessed lovely spaces,

clouded presently, jaded by wrinkled, faded, weathered faces.

Feelings, attitudes, defenses born like circumspecting ripples;

from the lake of life, torn apart, disturbed, at Mother Nature’s nipples.

Wasted sands, upside-downed by temptations’ various hands;

history lived, legends born and dashed, in native and foreign lands.

Knowledge, painfully, yet lovingly quelled, carefully excavated,

honed by experience, leaving hills and hollows of passion, unrelated.

Past stars and heavens, through the universe, polished by hallowed archetypes,

birthing witness to each new, rare, brave heart’s gem of reaction, without hype.

A careful, delicate web, spun from golden life,

the weaver accenting each uniquely patterned fabric formed from strife.

A witness born o’er, once again and evermore,

melodies of love, pain, strength, courage, rhythmically abundant, especially sure.

Essences wriggling, seething from within tide pools of life,

miracles, wonders, marvelous couples, husband and wife.

Listening, straining to discover the unadulterated truth,

stumbling, falling, climbing precipitous mountains well beyond youth.

Together, apart, not sustaining the faint of heart.

Lasting, lingering hands grasping while moist lips quiver, so tart.

Vision, plummeted by waves, pummeled by waterfalls, climaxically cascading,

until cold, dark, musty depths of death create the souls walls, pervading.

A sublime combination of art, knowledge and wise thoughts came into this
poemization of "Memories of Life". The imagery and lexis are excellent,
and it was poetized to please ERATO and to nourish the learning minds.

Thank You for posting this shining jewel ~ titled, "Memories of Life".

In admiration, respectfully,

Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU
