I guess Iam a little board with the day to day tread mill thrust upon me.

Is this all there is ?

Tell me it isn't so !

Survival of the fittest

My defences put on show

A universe awaits me

Yet I sit here mute and still

The calling of the wild

Brings me hollow fill

Captains of my my real time

Consume my every thought

They pray I will not notice

My soul has just been bought.

I guess we all have to follow our own drummer but it doesn't mean we can loose our souls, I think we find them. Great poem. Love, Bonnie
