Give Me Those Words!

When my friend was lonely and hurting inside.

I wanted to say something that will boost her pride.

She's such a great person with love in her heart.

When she's hurting so, it just tears me apart.

I can't find the words, to help with her pain.

No matter how hard I try racking my brain.

It seems the only thing that I can do,

Is Remember her in prayer, & hope it gets her through.

“God give her strength in each passing hour.

Let her happiness bloom as a bud into flower.

Take away her darkness and turn it to light.

Be with her in morning and stay with her at night.

Touch her loved ones with the same kind of love.

So they know what she knows, and turn to above.

Help them to see the treasure they own,

And treat her with love, as a queen to a throne.

Give her the courage to meet life head on.

And grant her the peace when her day is done.

Help her with patience and let her forgive.

When others disappoint her, give her strength to live.

Help me be the friend that I know she needs,

So I may hear her cries and her silent pleas.

You brought us together for a reason I know.

So together we'll worship and together we'll grow.

Take care of her Lord when I'm not around.

Keep her chin up and her feet on the ground.

In your hands I'll leave her and I'll be at rest.

For my hands are only human and merely second best.

Take care of her Lord, each and every day.

And give me those words, I ask and pray.
