We are going through the same with my boyfr.s son (18yrs)
and No job, and not trying very hard and bad emotions he can't control!
WE must stay with them, Print this and give it to your Grand daughter, she will know you are bonded still! This would make my heart break, if I was in the same place with my Grand daughter, she is 8yrs. now and It scares me what her future is going to hOld! Your poem I couldn't hold back tears...
My heart is with her (to find the right direction/etc.) and for you, to stay Strengthened in spirit! God Bless~!

To say that teenage life is rough is an understatement and high school does not help. I know this pain well as I watched my own twins going through very painful teen years with their parents divorce and a myriad of other problems. They made it. They learned from it. It made me cry and so did your poem. Liz

Reminds me of one of my daughters... For some, being a teenager is just the pits! Makes me grateful I don't have to ever relive those days!

This one brings me back to my daughter's teenage years. It was the hardest and the toughest time. Mostly was because of her toublesome friends. I had to step in to defend her. But that didn't really help to ease her pain. I guess this the a phase that most teenage girls go through. No matter what you say you just cam't reach them.

Anyway, within a year or 2, 3 years the most, they would turn around by themselves.

I will keep you and your granddaughter in my prayers.

Written as only a caring grandmother would. We always want the best for our children and grandchildren, sometimes there's nothing we can do but pray.

I think she just needs her space right now. You know they go through a stage like this. Mine sort of did too. But after Tom died Christina and Katlyn especially were very kind to me again. Katlyn says all the time are you o.k. grandma and does things she would not do otherwise. She is surely a good support to me this whole year and I appreciate her. Of course she is only 14, but she made a turn around after Tom died and was more considerate of me.

When you've done all you can, that's when you pray. He will answer, in His way, in His time. He's never early, but He's never late, either. My prayers join yours in this time of need - well penned, Bonnie.

I think you did just about all you can do right with this prayer, though, and I am sure she already knows this, but just be there for her when she needs you because that day will come...good luck, Ed
