My last lullaby I could find from my children's past.

Poem Artwork

The Angels Fly By

Mr. Sandman is comin; lay down your sweet head.
Prepare for the wonderment as I tuck you in bed.
Don’t open those eyes until the mornin is here. Or
You’ll miss the beautiful angels singin, my dear.

O’ hear their voices so heavenly sweet.
Singin songs of lullabies and touchin your feet.
Kissin your tiny nose with touches of silk,
And rubbin your tummy with heavenly milk.

Sleep my little one ‘til your night is all through,
And when you awake, mommy will be runnin to you.
She’ll hold you and love you, like the angels on high.
And kiss you so tenderly, as those angels fly by.

My poor babies never heard me sing lullabyes or give them baths or snuggle them into bed.. I missed those precious times... but I tried to make it up to them when they became toddlers and my grandbabies sure got all I had in me too... You are blessed, as I'm sure they are too. lindalaw

So, you actually made these all up yourself, huh...? Really, Doc, you should market them, at the very least in some sort of cards, maybe copywrite them and send them to like Hallmark...Ed
