I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart...Your prayers gave me the first good night sleep I've had in over a week. God Bless you for all you've done for me and my beautiful granddaugher...I love you all. Love, Bonnie
Dismal Place
I picture her sitting in a dark and dismal place.
If I close my eyes real tight I can see her tearstained face.
The pain I see in her eyes makes my own tears flow.
I want to go and hug her; I want to let her know.
How much I love her, she’s the reason I fight to live.
I’m so drained and tired and I have nothing more to give.
I would gladly give my life for her if she could only see.
But she’s so hurt and in despair that she can’t hear me.
I cry out to her with every emotion and feeling in my soul.
But her hearts in such distress, the anguish takes its toll.
She can not hear me; she can not see how much I care.
For she is in a dark and dismal place and I am not there.
Please Lord; open her ears so she can hear my cry.
Give her the will to live so her spirit doesn’t die.
Let her see me there when she feels she’s so alone.
And give her the desire Lord to finally return home.
A touching write...This reminds me of a movie that I saw a few months ago. I can't remember the name of it, but it tells the story of a granddaughter who has come to her grandmother to get someone before running away with her boyfriend. The grandmother doesn't give her the money until she has told her why she would like her to wait... Her granddaughter of course tells her that she doesn't understand...that life is different now, etc. It is an amazing story with so many lessons of love in it. Wish I could remember the name of it...

Bonnie, I haven't falter, my sincere prayer were always unbroken, but I pray for your pain to soften and your granddaughter to feel some direction and take down her defensive wall and let you come to her.
But then again, the girl need to understand that grandma will not be for her always and spare her from yest another pain.
Bonnie my friend...it's such a difficult place to be...as I know too well...my own g-child hasn't even shared with me that she has or has not had her child...and she was who I lived for and now I am not even in her thoughts...so...we just have to let them go sometimes...as hard as that is...until they are ready... Just love them and pray for their return... until then...the hole remains dark and empty... I wish I could tell you what to do to make it better and like magic it would happen...but... all we can do lis trust HIM... great write of a difficult subject... hugs, lindalaw
Dear Bonnie,
I wish I knew how to help you or to at least comfort you. I can feel you pain in your words. I lost an infant son from SIDS when he was just three and a half months old. In the viewing room at the mortuary where his little crib was there was a placque that read, "Troubles are often times the tools by which God fashions us for better things." Those words have sustained me through many a storm. May they somehow help you also.
Love,
Marcia
I will pray that she would open herself up to you and her parents. I know you are feeling helpless now, and she feels the same way too.
Some teenagers are harder to reach than others, but in their own minds, they know what they want, but they just have to find a trusted person to convey their feelings.
It's almost Christmas. Lynn Basil is writing her last book about a secret entrance into the magical doll land of Sha Bebe that she loves so much. Bagannos have taken over the world! Lynn finally meets her dolls in real life. Can she write in a Secret
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
