Shapes of Grief

bend with thoughts
to twist and spiral.
Roots once planted
reach with velocity
as if it was a tornado
heaving upward
like an open palm reaching
to the God's  --
funneling for truth.

There it waits - and seeks
a moment
for a seed of acknowledgement
only to find
an  eternity of silence
that echoes across skeletons.

Weeping and wailing
puddles from torrential storms
and subsides to the sun scorn.
Clouds once darkened change form and bow
to visions of a double rainbow
where leprechauns dance
in silent sympathy.

And grief - for a moment
changes
to accept the future as is,
forever changing.

Great poem
This one seems like it is coming from another place inside
I like how the thoughts are sort of compact (less wordy but saying so much more) The only nit I have is the end. The furure can change all it wants but I would rather just forgo the future and live in the grief. it seems it is where I am most of the time anyway

Tracey,

This is Really Excellent! Painful, yes, but enlightening
at the same time...and isn't that it? The paradox!

Sending you positive vibes!
