Deceit

Eyes gaze,
among those
who do not see,
until it's too late
to undo
moments of regret.

(Who do you really trust?)

Trust is only found in vulnerability. Trust is earned through actions wrapped in respect and loving intent.
We must learn to not trust or distrust but to be detached to it until the evidence is clear where the heart resides.

I do love the shortness of this one. Sometimes fewer words demonstrate the power of the thought.
