Self Portrait

Who I am
depends on the time of day
with what I wear
or what I say

5 am to 7 am is rush hour
mommy mode
no time for my self
just time to hit the road

7 am to 4:15 is work
my fingers to the bone
no time for play
or for calls on the telephone.

4:15 to 8 pm is the rush around
picking up the kids and homework,
trying to get supper on the table
without going totally berserk!

8 pm to 9 pm is yelling at the kids
to stop messing around
time for bed and hugs good night
looking for some quiet time, none to be found!

9 pm to 11 pm is my honeys time
if he hasn’t fallen asleep in the drop of a dime,
scratching my head I wonder sometimes
would I ever figure out where is my time!!!!!!

Some where in the days course
Im hoping you will find
the riddle of who I am …
or I have just wasted (mine/your )time!

Be of good cheer. The kids become human when they're old enough to buy you a drink. (But there's no hope for husbands.) Thank goodness you find time to write.

You are the selfless wife and mom, I was too, take some advice from someone who has been there, make time for you, the real Tracey, who you are and not who you are to someone else. You are a beautiful Lady, Tracey, inside and out.
