Deny my Heaven's Gate

I would pledge to you my soul
and be denied my Heaven's gate
if that would assure that I'd see you
without the lifetime's wait.

My soul is what I pledge to you.
My heart no longer wanders free.
For my life was so meaningless
before Fate found you to me.

I pray each night that I'll awaken
and share our times once more.
For every hour is precious...
Ever minute that's in store.

And if I should journey before you
whether early in life or late...
I would lovingly haunt you
and deny my Heaven's gate.
