When the world stops turning
and the seas spill from their banks
Will the stars collide or will
they simply fall from their ranks?
Oh, how the moon just watches me.
Watches o’er this dead, silent sea.
Will the Wind of Change no longer stir
and its last breath but a whisper aloft
the scattered clouds frozen in their trapeze
upon the broken sky shattered and soft.
Oh, how the moon just watches me.
Watches o’er this dead, silent sea.
When the bombs of Man can no longer fall
The pendulum has fallen sickly and still
No wars between Gods and devils will occur
No egos to feed. No stubbornness of Will.
Oh, how the moon just watches me.
Watches o’er this dead, silent sea.
Life, no more, when the world stands and waits
like a mannequin in the grand Milky Way.
All shall be silent amongst the ash and bones
as my own smile begins to erode and fade.
Oh, how the moon just watches me.
Watches o’er this dead, silent sea.
