Journey through Time

Wide eyed I soar
under wings of shadows
and made journey's through time
up and down my mother's spine
I fly.....
through her heart and thoughts
her visions and dreams
through her poisons and frustrations
I opened like blossoms
I drifted with the breeze
filled the earth with scents
of me
like Dagnesh I walked upon
Gardens of Eden
gave birth to reasons
and filled the earth
I became queen
visions of celestial dreams
and bathe of king's cream........
I washed the backs of devils
and tended to their seed
I submitted myself so that others
could breathe
angry..........I flew
through trees and candle light
I cried and fought
with womanly might
I washed in hate
I found my voice and made my way
then grew like the silk-cotton tree
I whored myself cause I wanted equality
I wanted to be free
to pursue what made me happy
I suffered the consequences
withered with bruised defenses
blindly I felled upon the altar
on my knees
and my road was made clean
through it all.......the deepest valley
then highest mountain....the widest oceans
the hottest sun.....the longest hour
the coolest rainshower
I became sober
giddy on tranquility
I am livin' stories
that was written in the sky
under wings of shadows
takin' and makin'
journey's through time.....

Excellent write Mitzi. It's so nice to see your poem after a while. Your journey has been one of many struggles and it's a tough one too but you have to keep up with it - because it will pay off in the end. Just be yourself gurl...and never get tired of it. :)
