I saw you cry I was with you when you cried I held you in my arms when you cried I shield you from your storms as you cried so tell me please tell me what was that all about I saw you laugh I was with you when you laughed I held you in my arms when you laughed I listened to your jaded charms as you laughed so tell me please tell me what was that all about I saw you plan I was with you when you planned I held you in my arms when you planned you said it was you and me living eternally as you planned so tell me please tell me what was that all about I saw you rage I was with you when you raged I held you in my arms forgiving you for doing me harm as you raged so tell me please tell me what was that all about Then I saw you die I was with you when you died I held you in my arms as you died my hands filled with your blood I sealed your eyes as you died so tell me somebody please tell me what was that all about
