A kid on a trampoline,
All day long to jump and scream
Oh what fun to run and jump ,
Flying higher with each bump .
Inhibitions in a bin ,
Pumping with adrenalin,
I'll break the news to you all ,
Up you go and then free fall .
I went up and I came down .
I touched the sky ,off the ground ,
I saw things not many see
Like a cat up in a tree ,
I had this agility
To land oh so purr-fectly
The soar again with a scream ,
On a magic trampoline .
Its sad but I must announce,
Time to go
So ends the bounce .
What a DELIGHT I experienced while reading this fun-filled poem!
Your words had me doing things I haven't done since a kid.
You made me feel exhilaration!
Mercy! Thanks!
I was having insomnia this night so chose to read and read....
After reading your poem above, now I know how I will float off as I drift to sleep and it won't be counting sheep, but counting jumps free as a bird, innocent as a child, forgeting for a while. Thanks for helping me do that! Deborah:)
Donkey-Donk has moved to a new farm, and as much as she tries, she just can't find a job she can do. Includes over 20 adorable photos of Donk trying her best...
