As a child we all walked with my Father,
Ten miles and even farther .
I would rather have walked with my Father
with blackberries to gather
instead of being on some wild goose chase
and staring out into space .
Children waste not want not ,
they run and chase the wind with joy on their face .
As I look back down memory lane again ,
The picture’s always the same .
I’m glad he came to walk with me again ..
Along paths that have no name .
