Sometimes within a woman

breast a cancer grows .



Don't ask me ,

God knows why , it just does ,

I suppose .



There are those who accept .

There are those who reject ,



There are those who neglect themselves

and lose respect ,



In a downward spiral of life

where they've lost hope ,

in a dark world

where they are not able to cope.





Sometimes within the gloom

there is something that glows ,

and it's God light

shinning down where breast cancer grows .



There are those who believe .

There are those who receive ,

There are those who conceive

that God will never leave

them alone in the world

with breast cancer,

for there is help within the burden

a woman must bear .





Sometimes with breast cancer

there is also a cure ,

and the worry no more ,

will a woman endure .



There are those who have healed .


There are those who reveal .



There are those who can't conceal

the joy that they feel ,

when they have been gifted with new life ,

God willing .



The cups of kindness

are ever overspilling .
