If it was 21 we couldn’t move on
and then what on Earth would we do ?
But it’s now 22 and the past it has gone, for people like me and you ,
Another year has come for everyone
and we’re together in 22 .
There’s nothing they can say
and there’s nothing they can do
to turn back the times we knew .
So let’s move on in 22
and take a good look at the things we can change .
Open the book and see the record that’s there and somehow let’s try to arrange ,
friends who are true and love that is strong , to help all us just to get along .
So if I were you and if you were me
we could understand where we belong .
I belong in a world that is fair
and accepts me for the person I am ,
in 22 I pray love and peace will be there with every woman and man .
In 2022 we all belong to live in a world where we feel safe to chase our dreams , to live , love and laugh and to practice our culture and our faith .
We belong to live without fear and to be happy in 2022.
So let’s carry on with confidence
to keep on doing all the things we do.
