My mind was hi jacked yesterday
and in a ship I sailed away
far out into the deep blue sea .
I said my God what can I do .
I can’t escape this angry crew ,
Then an answer it came to me .
Somebody said man overboard
there was I,
the man overboard .
So if you ask me why I’m free
I’ll tell you don’t analyse me ,
Have faith .
Let go and let it be .
Believe in things you cannot see .
Ships of fools are lost at sea .
You can jump ship and swim with me .
The captain said he’ll sink or swim
there’s no room on board for him .
That’s when a lightening bolt struck
that’s when the ship and crew was sucked
into a vast bottomless sea .
I am not on a ship at sea ,
I’ve got my life in front of me .
So don’t bother me no more .
I’ve got my feet back on the shore .
In the end what will be will be
I don’t want scorn or your abuse ,
if you do I will cut you loose
and I will watch you drift away
and forever there you will stay
under the deep and stormy sea .
