Someone take this head off my hands,

Takes these hopes and dreams of love,

To a place where I can get a release,

I’m done waiting for Mr. Right.

I want to feel and touch this heat,

That my peers speak so fondly of,

My body yearns to feel warmth,

To throw caution to the wind and above.

I have been called a flirt and a tease,

On more than one occasion,

That I am ashamed to admit,

I want to give in to his persuasion.

I want to lose my scruples,

Or what I have stood for, for so long,

It never mattered to me,

But for some reason I wanted to belong.

Movement of fabric and cloth,

Shuffling though the middle of the night,

The cold air turning to pure steam,

This how I’m suppose to feel right?

Turning red from my deepest blush,

The smirk he wears reassures me,

That the sweet taste has made me a lush.

The moment of truth has finally come,

With one last touch, my body will succumb.

This lust has turn on me and my actions,

I didn’t want love or these fatal attractions.

The smoke hangs in the air.

A wink and sweet but distant kiss,

My eyes close in pain,

A man I definitely will miss.

Footsteps, running water, and one door shut,

Without a word my first is gone,

My deep night finally turns to early dawn.

Standing On My Knees by Pinkstone

I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work. I wanted to purchase a sukiyaki sub. I parked my car in an area of
