The Impossibilities

Really caring is the first step,
not feeling you’re a walk-on, no lines to say.

Much more than
A smile or shrug, excuses given
For non-involvement,

As if
Taking certain steps might be
Somehow against rules written
Somewhere, like parceled out
Mothballs to fleets no longer
Necessary,

But docking near San
Diego forever our only
Option in life, a docking
Taking us off
The world stage and making
All of us spectators
At our own lives.

I always wondered how to become human.
Now I have the steps to make it happen.
I must first care about people,
Then get involved with people
Then I have to observe myself as a non partial third party and view myself as something I am not so that one day I can be!
