Just as the classic rock band 'Kansas' song sings (Dust in the wind)
which happens to be one of my favorite songs, this short piece reminds me of. Well done!

In so few words you have piqued that curious eye. I agree, we are all just 'passing through' ... but my question is, ... how is life eternal if you are dead? An extremely interesting write.
