Just blowing off steam ; 'spect we all know the feeling. . .

The flowers you sent late

Afraid I didn't make it plain that the poem is not about me, personally. Like a lot of my work, this poem is f i c t i o n. The emotion is genuine and the metaphor true to my experience, but. . .I guess you could say that the piece is comparable to a very small painting of a scene that I pulled out of imagination. Impressionism, e.g. Thanks to all of you for reading and commenting upon this

Wow I call that florist and complain
about delivering half-dead flowers but late well
It's better late then never,it's the though that
Really makes a difference Right
Nonetheless this poem speaks loud
And clear and painful thoughts of an end.
But i think forgiveness is in your soul
Love And Peace to you always
Your friend...Morning Star many many Hugssss

Oh precious, Phyllis, it's the thought that counts, right? We must forgive the timing...perhaps weather conditions were to blame...or the delivery person had a mishap...or...you know, forgiveness really is heavenly bliss! :)

Much love and twenty hugs
