Tune in m'head, but I don't know how to write music. Anyone like to collaborate, let me know. Don't even play, I'm ashamed to say.

Tune I'm hearing sounds familiar. Maybe it's the rhythm? Dunno!
Hope I didn't subconsciously memorize someone else's song. Don't mean to flatter myself, just that it came
so easy.
Hope you country fans enjoy.
Heard 'er before, tell me!

            No one Home

When I lost you, I  lost my way.
Don’t know how I get from day to day.
You were all I ever wanted.
People tell me I look haunted.
How could I look any other way?
When I lost you, I lost my way.

Since you walked out on me,
I can’t see, hear, taste, or feel.
How many times can I say please?
How many messages can I leave?
Somebody tell me this isn’t  real.
Didn’t lose you, didn’t lose my way.
.
You did everything you could.
Didn’t do the things I should.
Not that I blame you for going away.
But when I lost you, I lost my way.

You were sweet and understanding.
I was mean and underhanded.
Put up with things that no one should.
If I could make it up to you, I would.
Looks like it’s too late.
Looks like I sealed my fate.
I’ve lost you and I’ve lost my way.

Come back and give me a try again,.
Promise not to make you cry again.
Cost what I cost again
Or try to be boss again.
When I lost you, I lost my way.

When I lost you, I lost my way.

May I suggest that you approach this as a "blues" song? It has it all. Bravo!

Pea, This would be a great song, sorry I can't carry a tune, but I think I'd give it a 2nd chance, if these words were sung to me. Hell, even read to me. Shhh! some people say I'm easy. LOL Be Well, Carin'

(((Pea))),

What can I say? Undone by the emotions in these lines ... yes. The perfect song (not just country). Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Only thing I can play is the Cajun triangle. And I don't sing. NOT pretty. LOL!

Dear Phyllis, I am no expert but I never heard those words to any song. I think the lyrics are great. Now all you need is to put it to music.

GOD BLESS YOU
Tony
