A chocolate kiss -a daisy- a bruised knee,a lemon tree, cotton candy in my hair. Those are things a mother share.
A big band-aid on a bruised lip, dirt under each little finger tip.
It's Sea World and Missy and boats and trains---it's lions and tigers and shadows and rains.
It's picnics and ducks and deer in the park.
It's candle light dinners with Shirley Temples. It's brown and green eyes and four little dimples. It's giggles at night when it's 13 o'clock. It's Mommy I love you, I love you a lot.
It's the tiny little hand that pats me on the head---says don't worry Mom, I'll put you in bed. I'll find your blue blankie and tuck you all in---can I sleep with you Mommie, I'm a big man----
You can take care of us---sissy and me---yes my children,
It's Just We Three........
