Heart Song

When hearts collide, they soon become one,

One is the moon and the other the sun.

They beat as one, true , and strong,

As if born together, they certainly belong.

Over time they grow, many things they learn,

Together or apart, they speak in turn.

The heart speaks a language all of its own,

But only after the relationship has truly grown.

There’s a time for tears, as they discover their fears,

As they survive each year, to one another they draw near.

Closer and closer their love comes into view,

Their hearts sing a song, one old, one new.

Doors are opened to a new future untold,

Expectations, new experiences, together they unfold.

When emotions run deep, and feelings are strong,

This is when you hear my Heart Song.
