I Will Endure
Nothing before really existed,
Too much in life was so restricted.
Divorce can destroy the toughest of men,
Ruining their hearts, total destruction within.
Too much to lose, after working so hard,
It always happens, when you let down your guard.
There are many mistakes, to which we owe,
Believing it’s true , we do reap what we sow.
But life is short, we learn that hard lesson,
We live and learn, hopefully without much regression.
At times we are blessed, welcoming a new start,
Knowing that it’s not always a walk in the park.
But now my days seem even brighter,
With her in my life, my heart feels much lighter.
True and sincere, with no ice in her veins,
With great passion, she takes life by the reins.
A union of hearts, with lives overlapping,
Finding myself thinking of a love everlasting.
Finding her was a blessing, a story to be told,
Now holding her tight, to never let her go.
Second chances, so seldom do they come,
Only happening, to the lucky ones.
This is my life, and I’m living it well,
Surviving a lot, my soul I did not sell.
No more lonely nights, with a passion so pure,
For this is my chance, with her I will endure.
