When Eileen smiles; the sun is shining bright
as a prelude to the integrity of revealing light
penetrating even those who live in the dark
while perpetuating all in her line of sight
Rock-lined buttes rise from the valley floor
cut and mediated by fast swollen rivers
flowing swift with the sincerity of her heart
where even in cold corners, no one shivers
When Eileen smiles, dear inspiration comes
the sun becomes a gold umbrella high
sheltering all who seek her saged words
as if angels like her needed wings to fly
How many times has she elevated the soul
or those who needed only a little shove?
with genuine encouragement to continue on
guided by an honest expression of love
When Eileen smiles, the graying skies are clear
those ominous clouds dissipate and scatter
and those who use their words in offense
their knives are futile for it does not matter
There are far too few with such common sense
or with the magic to make a storm seem calm
and she enters the periphery of my right
and with the Creator’s wisdom in her palm
When Eileen smiles, the world is a better place
despite other times she must bear and grin it
but I know tomorrow will be brighter still
for just as long as dear Eileen is in it
*dedicated to Eileen Waldron who is a shining star in the midst of day

Eileen is a lucky woman to have inspired such great words from you. I believe I would melt if someone wrote something like this for me. I enjoyed this, and was very trouched on behalf of her.
A wonderful tribute that I'm sure will keep Eileen smiling for a long, long time. Anyone else, I'd be jealous. You have a beautiful soul, Amor. And so does Eileen. Bless you for all the happiness you give.

It would have to be Amor Sabor
his music,poetry, and art all shine
this talented man is most divine
his poetry sets our hearts aflame
with him passion is never tame
but beyond that he is a good soul
a family man with a heart of gold!
Amor, to be honest after the first read, I had to leave
with tears of disbelief blinding me;-)I didn't know how to
comment for such an honor. I'm humble,joyful,thrilled,
just some of the emotions I feel. No words are good enough
so a simple thank you from the depths of heart and soul
will have to suffice;-) may blessings always be upon you
and yours dear friend, especially your new addition;-)
