Base upon your series, Lloyd, the likelihood that China and the
West (namely he U.S.) will seek some compatibility for building
a genuine relationship toward a better, safer world does not look
good. To resolve the clash in clultures will obviously require a
patience and openess and trust that neither side appears to be
willing to tackle. Let's hope it can be accomplished without further
exploitation and the rattling of arms. Let's hope that somehow we
can inject some intellingence and compassion into world affairs.
