What's the hurry?

Traffic is thick and slow
Like chilled treacle.

At seventy-five
In a forty zone
There are a hundred cars
In front of
A black Dodge RAM
With smoked windows
Flashing its lights;
Honking its horn
To get everyone
Out of its way
Reaching
The next red light
First.

Five red lights later
That black Dodge RAM
Waits long
To turn left
Into a Starbucks
Parking lot
As hundreds glide by
At forty.

Lloyd,
It's not just the pun in the title that works so well but the entire idea from start to finish; our modern silliness - some would call it madness - I do.
Finely conceived.
