You are always that soft shoulder,
When I need a place to lay my head.
You are the one who blocks the punches
Life constantly seems to throw at me.
Where there are dark shadows,
There is always the light of your love.
When the world is a tempest
You give me sunshine and blue skies.
No matter how much it rains,
You bring rainbows to my windowsill.
Every time I stumble, you steady me,
And give me the courage to move forward.
There have been times when I would have given up,
But you insisted we walk together, hand in hand.
I need you to know, that not a day goes by
When I don’t appreciate all that you are.
You helped me become who I am,
And for that, my precious love
I am eternally grateful!
Your love has been a lifeline in stormy seas,
And it has always been a haven to me.
A soul mate is like a perfect rose
That blooms forever in your garden.
You, my love, are that rose,
And my garden has never been more beautiful!
