She is like a crippled ship,
Adrift on a savage, tumultuous sea!
Where the gale force winds of uncertainty
Threaten to destroy her,
Send her spiralling to the depths of blackness!
Helpless, she is tossed about
Upon monstrous waves of fear,
No stars to guide her,
Struggling in the darkness,
Always searching the horizon
For that safe haven in the storm!
She once sailed effortlessly,
Upon the ever-changing sea of life,
Until one day the tide suddenly turned,
And a tsunami of depression carried her away,
Into the unfamiliar waters of despair!
She reaches into the universe,
For something to hold on to,
But without an anchor to secure her,
She drifts alone, her course uncharted,
To a place where the storm doesn’t abate,
And the tide never ebbs!
