A hidden diary of a crush...

HIDDEN
(March 16, 2010)

Hidden under the covers,
L
ies the diary of a crush.
I
ts pages once empty,
Are now filled with detailed accounts
Of bittersweet love.

It is on these pages of love
That her soul lives,
That her soul hides,
In hopes to save itself
From another heartache.

Young and old lovers alike have kept diaries from time immortal...whether they be journals, those little lock and key books teens have, or the more sohphisticated diaries of poetry and prose...either way you hit it on the head with this poem...great job.

Ah yes! So nice to read you here again, Lena. Of course I am privileged to have your poetry here in my home and I can read it whenever I will. Once again I find myself relating so closely with what you express. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

Regis

And with this nice poem it is hidden no more.
The sharing of it opens a wonderful door.
