This is a deep metaphorical poem that was inspired by my friend's writing.
DROP OF HEAVEN
(June 28, 2007)

I've come to your water
To quench my dying thirst
To satisfy my growling hunger
And as I drowned in your liquids
The overflowing juices of your mind
My needs have been met
I'll forever swim in your water
And drink up every drop of heaven
That you paint with your delicious love
A passion that burns with magnificent power
One that stands atop the highest mountains
And flows through the raging rivers
One that penetrates my beating heart
And energizes my sensitive soul
One that will forever be
The medicine of my life
Exceptional write as always, you emote your feelings and express your innermost thoughts with deep love. I would make only one small suggestion, which would be to remove the "ands" but that is just what I would try to do for I have a habit of using them a lot as well. Keep on writing these wonderful works.

Of course I have read this before since I have your book, "Pieces of Me," Lena. It is quite in contrast to most of my poems in that yours is all about seemingly perfect love. I hope this is true for you and that you find such love. I have found love on more than one occasion but circumstances within society and the everyday life realities have really taken their toll.
