Your Hazel Eyes

Your hazel eyes like rare diamonds
Penetrate the chocolate of my eyes
Melting away the darkness of my soul
Leaving a silhouette upon my heart
That blooms like a garden of roses
Red strokes of love leaving their mark
Like a needle weaving a priceless quilt

In a writing group I run on Facebook called Creative Writers Spotlight I challenged myself and others to write a poem about something that makes you happy. The poem had to include the following words: diamonds, darkness, silhouette, roses, red strokes, needle. This is the poem that I wrote for the challenge.
