Jenny's love.

For my daughter whose heart is broken but who still dares to belive in happy endings.

Jenny's Love.
 

Her love does not have an IQ
it just has a heart

She has been wounded
and hurt by love
but still she strives
to keep it alive

She is small in stature
but a giant in her battles
to keep love.

Her heart shields against
oppression
while disappointment
is trampled under her defiant feet.

Though soft as sunbeams tracing
upon morning grass
her love may also burn with fiery flares
when threatened with being extinguished.

Do not dare to dismiss it with the idea
that it can easily be replaced
for you will find yourself lost

in the darkness of the blind
unable to find your way ...
and you will say

softly and with eternal regret

that you let
a star that brightly shone
to be forever
sadly...gone.

A woman who refused to allow love to be dashed is stronger where it counts than the most stalwart, burly male. I am rooting for her.
