its the blessing you cant see the one that lives in me

the blessing I don't mean to show

the one some other's wish would go.

It's a secret gift that I hold, 

for me, a comfort,dearer than gold

A gift God wove into my heart

safely where it will not part.

All alone yet 'IT' is here,

melodies of love and cheer

and always every single day,

soothingly it hums away,

in all the deeds and chores I do,

a happy humming sees me through,

sometimes my family wander near

'why do you hum? 'STOP," they jeer!

Ive tried to stop... but it's too hard,

such happiness ,I can't discard.

My humming comes in melodies

some You'd know, some mysteries.

Some sound happy,

some sound blue,

old and new tunes ,I hum them too.

When alone,in all that I do ,

I forget that I'm humming (it's really true .)

Yet when they tell me ,I stop (quite amazed,)

I guess I'm just old and a little bit dazed.

But I think it's a BLESSING,

one they don't see,

for I'm never alone

when the hums are with me.
