Hand and hand I see them go,
backs to me...they could not know
someone's watching them in awe,
longing for SUCH
'e v e r m o r e.'

Wishing for a love as true ...
the precious 'one AND one'
that's 'TWO.'
I stand,
just longing...dreaming on,
'till the distance
blinks them gone
and as I see them disappear...
my envy green
enfolds me
here.

footnote;
Since I wrote this poem ,I have found my 'one'.

The longing run deep in this.. Perhaps it is good that you felt this way at one time.. because now you know what you have.. I see the hope in this.. yet feel the lonliness.
