Eggs.

I ate a gooey, googy egg,
'twas sticky golden yellow,
my mother said that 'it was sure
to make me a strong fellow.'
It would not sit upon my fork,
it dripped upon my clothes,
I even tried to lick the knife
but egg got on my nose.
I'm certain eggs ARE good for me,
I've ALWAYS heard such words,
but.....if I had A CHOICE in it,
I'd leave eggs with....THE BIRDS!!!!

Footnote:This is just another kids poem
inspired by watching my son attempting
to eat runny eggs with a fork.
