Poem Artwork

My sister and I were playing
With a small rubber ball
In our backyard-

The ball started getting muddy
I went into the house,
Washed it off in the bathroom

Back outside
We continued to play
In the usual way

My mother came into the house
Some time later-
Found water running down the hallway

There was no carpeting
Which was a plus-
I left the water running...what a mess

Positive side, REALLY clean floors!
I was 11 when I turned on the oven to make something. I hadn't realized there was a Tupperware bowl in it full of chicken my Mother had set there to cool away from pesky flies. Imagine the result and smell an hour later... we had to replace the living room curtains!

Cute :)
